In my opinon Jaws 2 is even better than the first one. But that may only be because I like
slasher flicks where teens get ripped up as opposed to adults (with the exception of
Candyman and From Dusk till Dawn). It brings back Cheif Brody and his family, but now
his oldest boy is now about 17 years old. When Brody starts to realize that another shark
is terrorizing his waters, he goes to the town and asks to shut the beach down until they
can catch the shark and or kill it. Of course they say no again just like in the first one, like
that wasn't expected, and this time after freaking a little (but only because he was
concerned for people's lives) when he thought he saw a shark, they fire him from his job as
cheif of police. When they do so, of course no one does anything about the shark problem
and when his son goes out with a group of friends on a couple boats he has to find them
and bring them back into main land before they are shark meat. If you can, go and rent this
movie! If its not in your
horror section, check the action section-they sometimes have
some horror movies over there as well as the sci-fi section.
I dont want to spoil any more of the plot line than I already have-its a lot more
complicated than what I've told you here already, but if you haven't seen it, please do so!
Its actually quite good! The PG-13 rating might throw you off-it did for me, but trust me,
you wont be disapointed! But that might be a plus for those of you are too young to rent
horror flicks or your parents wont do it for you. Anywhoo, rent it the next time you are at
the video store.
