Story:
A girl is willing to do ANYTHING to graduate High School as Valedictorian. This may include the murder of her teacher.. It is a DARK comedy, not straight horror. Why would she need to kill a teacher to become valedvictorian? Well, maybe she gave her a bad grade that brought her grade down. I don't know. But this should be a hella cool movie because, damn...I know there has been MANY of my teachers I would have liked to kill off!

Summary of 1st Draft Script:
The lead character in the draft dated 1/16/98 is Leigh Ann Prescott (ha, ha Kevin). She is best friends with Jo Lynn, and both are seniors in high school. Leigh Ann is struggling hard to become valedictorian for graduation, but is pitted against Mary Beth Carter, who is the other school brainiac and a total "Heathers"-esque pain in the arse.

Leigh Ann is ahead of Mary Beth in every subject but History. The class that Mrs. Tingle teaches. Mrs. Tingle hates Leigh Ann and loves Mary Beth. Pretty much everyone hates Mrs. Tingle (even the administration). Well, to cut to the chase, the school bad-ass, Luke Churner, has a crush on Leigh Ann. He gets her and Jo Lynn in trouble when he brings a beer into school and Tingle catches them. She is going to use this to get Leigh Ann, but it's Friday and she can't turn her in as it is the end of the day. This leads to Leigh Ann, Jo Lynn, and Luke going to Mrs. Tingle's house and the hi-jinx begin.

There are many great comedic scenes in the film and plenty of supporting characters: the gym teacher, school principal, Mary Beth, and others. Of course, what would a Williamson project be without a little teen pre-marital sex. Overall, while this movie doesn't re-invent the wheel, it certainly gives it all weather treads.

Summary of 2nd Draft Script:
The only discrepancy noticed between the newer script and the last was that Leigh Ann, Jo Lynn, and Luke are not busted for Luke's beer. They're busted because Luke stole a copy of Mrs. Tingle's final history exam, and even though Leigh Ann had no intention of using it, she still had it in her hand when Mrs. Tingle walked up. The person who read the script said they liked the script a great deal until the last two scenes, which they thought were depressingly bad. (One is a graduation scene with a joke that falls horribly flat, and the other is...well, think horror movie cliches, and you'll be on the right track.) And the other thing which has changed would be the character of Mrs. Tingle herself had been modified a great deal since the old "orthopedic shoes" days.

Dates:
Filming to begin in May, will probably be in theaters by the end of the year.
