The town of Castle rock just made a deal with the devil...Now its time to pay.
Needful things is based upon a book written by Stephen King that I read when I was like
11 years old. Anyways-I loved the book so much I couldn't put it down! And when I
found out that they had made a movie about it--I looked for it and looked for it but never
found it. Well, just recently I was at my local Blockbuster and saw it and bought it. The
movie isn't as good as the book, but thats just because you can't get to know the
characters as well as you can in the book.
Anyways-the devil has come to the town of Castle Rock-and with him he has brought
your hearts desire. You pay a fair price and you do him a favor, a deed, a trick. Those
tricks reak havok on the small town of normal people. I think this is an amazing tale and I
am not going to ruin any of it for anyone. So I urge you to go rent the movie-or go check
out the book at your local library. I assure you-its so worth it. If you like reading and have
time to read a rather lengthy book-please go and get the book rather than the movie
though. Its a pretty hard read, but I made it through it at age 11, so anyone can do it too=)

and I would have to say the book is about 300% better than the movie was. Seriously. Not saying that the movie was so terrible that the book had to out shine it, its just there is so much more detail on things and just things the movie version couldn't or didn't capture. I read this book when I was 11 as I said before and loved it the first time through and still do! If your into horror movie, horror books, reading--or just anything--this is the book for you!
