If you think you'll get out alive,
you must be dreaming...

A Nightmare on Elm St. 3 has always been one of my faves in the nightmare series. All the gore is just too cool=) And plus the whole story line is pretty good, especially for the 80s!

(Oh and I got this movie at Best Buy for only $2.99!
I LOVE them! If you need to buy a movie-go there!
They have the best prices!)

Ok, it starts out with Kristen making a model of Nancy's (Now Freddy's) house with paste, newspapers and popsicle sticks. She is staying up late because she is being terrorized by Freddy when she dreams. Her mother returns home and makes her go to bed. Soon she falls asleep and is in front of Freddys house. She goes inside to catch a little girl and runs into Freddy.

She gets out of the dream (or so she thinks and goes into the bathroom and Freddy turns up again and slits her wrists and her mom thinks it was her trying to kill herself so she takes her to a mental hospital.

There she meets whats left of the last brats of Elm St. Immediately when one of the teens goes to sleep he gets killed in a very gruesome way. Freddy slices his arms and legs open and pulls out the veins and starts walking him around like a puppet and then takes him to a window and he falls out.

Also, Nancy from the first Nightmare movie returns to play a doctor there to help the kids with their dreams. The teens warm up to her and the head of the ward doctor doesn't like her. Nancy convinces the guy Dr. to help her get the kids on dream suppressant medicine so they will stop dying and he does-but its too late. Another of them dies by Freddy slamming her head into the TV. They do an experimentation with Kristen's dream power- to bring others in with her and they succeed and all get there together-but Freddy gets Joey and when they wake up he is in an coma.

Nancy and the guy doctor get fired and they realize that they are the only hope of the kids survival so they go to Nancy's dad to get him to tell them where Freddy's bones are so that they can get rid of him once and for all.

Meanwhile back at the hospital Kristen is put in the silent room with a heavy dosage of drugs to put her to sleep. Nancy gets there just in time to get the rest of the kids together and get them all asleep to be with Kristen to face Freddy together.

I love this movie and if you haven't seen it
I really dont want to ruin the ending for you.

Its the best one of the bunch (in my opinion)
and if you haven't seen it yet-I really do recommend it!
