I've Been Waiting for You is a movie based on a novel by Lois Duncan. If this name sounds familiar to you, it is
because Duncan wrote the book version of I Know What You Did Last Summer
which hit theaters in 1997. Starring Sarah Chalke (Roseanne), Soleil Moon Frye (Punky Brewster) and Markie
Post (Night Court) this was a hella cool made for TV movie.
It's about Sarah Zoltanne, a high school student who moves with her
mother to a small town with a nasty little
curse on their hands. And unbeknowest to Sarah and her mother, they move into a house where the curse
originated from. See, the town has a legend three hundred years old. Years ago there was a young girl burned
at the stake for suspision of witchcraft right in front of the house the Zoltane's just rented out. The curse was
that the decendants of those who burned her would be brutally harmed. Well, now its time for the curse to take
place and when
"accidents" start to happen to this decendants club, Sarah, with the same name as the witch,
who lives in the same house and also a practicing pagan-gets pegged to be the one whos after them.
Well, this movie is one that'll keep you guessing till the end and you'll never guess who the real killer is! I know it took me a while to figure it out! Anyways, if you didn't get a chance to see this movie on TV when it aired, look for it at blockbuster. They usually eventually put made for TV movies on tape and blockbuster is usually the place to find them.
