OF DREAMS AND CONSEQUENCES

A tie in to my Death of a Dream storyline: A What If? style story, based on the upcoming Psi-War crossover, written by my best friend and roomie. Two years ago, many heroes were killed during a ferocious battle with the Shadow King, and now he holds this post-apocalyptic world beneath his heel. Captain America was presumed dead after the Avengers first battle with the Shadow King, but lives on in Hell's Kitchen, New York. He awakes to New America a changed man, whose destiny will find him, whether he likes it or not. This is not completely a mutant story, although Polaris, Sinister and various other mutants also play major roles, but it definitely has a place here. Especially since it ties in so well with my own X-Men story and sheds some light on the fates of other mutants. (in progress)

Continuity: This story takes place toward the end of my own story, The Death of a Dream.
