A What If? style story, with a bit of alternate universe thrown in. This story embodies what the true resurrection of Jean Grey, as the Phoenix, could, and perhaps, should, have been. (in progress)

INTRODUCTION	A more in depth explanation of this story and its background.
Chapter 1	Jean is resurrected a year and a half after her death on the moon, and the passage of time finds the X-Men with quite different lives.
Chapter 2	Jean continues her recovery while the X-Men remain oblivious to her return, and an evil scheme begins.
Chapter 3	Jean is finally reunited with the X-Men, but are all of them happy to find her alive?
Chapter 4	The X-Men debate the stability of Jean's new form even as Moira does her best to explain it's make-up.
Chapter 5 (updated 3/24)	Jean reunites with Misty Knight to discuss her resurrection and then goes head to head with Charles Xavier.
Chapter 6 (updated 3/24)	Xavier and Jean continue their argument, and Scott finds that he's not quite ready to go full steam ahead with he and Jean's relationship.
Chapter 7 (updated 3/24)	Jean goes home to reunite with her family, but how will they react to her resurrection?
