Superman No. 13 (Nov.-Dec. 1941), Jimmy Olsen's first appearance in the comics (above) is with Perry White, over the years both his blustering boss and fatherly adviser. Jimmy's full name is used two issues later. However, Jimmy actually first appears in the Superman mythos on radio in 1940.
