Preserved Flowers Frequently Asked Questions |
How long will it take |
Depending on the types of flowers you want preserved, the process takes between 6 - 8 weeks on average. |

What will it look like |
The shape and form of the flowers will be maintained, but remember that these will be dried preserved flowers. By definition they cannot look the same as fresh flowers. Different flowers will behave differently when preserved, and colours can be affected. However, we use a hand-tinting process to maintain as close as possible their original colour. We will advise you what to expect. |

Preserved flowers - what does that mean |
It is a carefully controlled way of removing moisture from the flowers, allowing them to retain their shape and form. We photograph and sketch your arrangement, then dismantle it to allow each individual flower to dry. The arrangement is then reassembled and sprayed with preservative. |

Can all flowers be preserved |
Providing you get them to us in a good condition, then we should be able to preserve them for you. However, some types of flowers are difficult to preserve, but we will advise you of this. |

Do you preserve flowers from occasions other than weddings |
We can preserve your flowers whatever the occasion - just give us a ring !! |

Do I need to do anything before getting the flowers to you |
Try and keep the flowers in a cool and dry place, away from heat, sunlight and moisture. DO NOT spray your flowers or keep them in the fridge. You should ideally get your flowers to us as soon after the event as possible, but the longer you leave it the more your flowers will suffer before getting them to us. |

How long will it last |
Providing you follow basic care principles it should last for many years. Keep it out of direct sunlight and away from heat sources and humid areas. Never roughly handle the frame. Treat it as you would any delicate piece of art. |

Do I need to have the whole arrangement preserved |
No - you can have just a part of the arrangement preserved, or a scaled-down version of it. We will be only too happy to discuss the options with you. |
