The Ark rested on the Mountains of Ararat
The archaeological site of the boat-shaped formation at Uzengili Village near the Dogubeyazit District in Eastern Turkey was officially dedicated as "Noah's Ark National Park" on June 21, 1987. In the above photograph the remains of Noah's Ark is on the left and the building on the right is the Visitor's Center. This building also serves as a museum that exhibits archaeological artifacts connected with Noah's Ark.
