CANAIMA
NATIONAL PARK, the largest in Venezuela and the sixth largest in the
world, was created by executive decree No. 770 of june 12, 1962. It
covers an area of three million hectares (aproximately 7.5 million acres),
in the region known as the Guayana Highlansd southeastern Venezuela,
falling into the jurisdiction of pair and Roscio Districts of the State
of Bolivar. It contains the world's two highest waterfalls: Angel Fall
a sight on incomparable natural beaty with a free fall of 1.002 meters
(2.275 feet) high.
