BOUNDARIES

Crossing swords and telling tales,
Petrified personification.

To walk a world without maps,
No boundaries, political.
To live without caves of fear.
Outside the darkness.

The air on our faces bright
As we hold on to the facet
Of our overlapping lives.
Deserts dance in waves below
Our feet; on solid ground
Our hopes outweigh our fears.

A wall of happenstance
A passing tale of woe,
Back-stabbing mimes,
Insisting on political growth.

Tears of entrapment,
As arms hold down.
Confinement in a horror
Felt by most to be sound.

Flickering lights of remembrance.
In the city of our emotions.
Ruined, bombed, destroyed by
Hope brought on by you.

Abrogate the secret feelings,
Serve just what you feel you should serve.
