TENEBROUS MIND
Tenebrous mind
Finds beauty in grey.
Sit in shadows and remember
The full passivity of my day.
Elapsing time my only
reward,
For a life less lived as passions' fool.
Ignored the onslaught of others eyes,
For the possibility of only you.
Passed my time with only
myself,
Nothing left at all to do.
Your memory adding colour
To my mind of ashen blue.
Night falls and all is
black, on
Cold, alone, unloved me.
Lost in a world of ghosts
The last vestiges of sanity.
Memories flood my broken
mind,
Let nothing fade away.
Thanatus strikes in silence
The closing of the day.
