Convinced that the Art should be present in people’s daily lives and not kept in temples as an object of consumption for only a few initiated who end up imposing their own limited criteria, ARTPOINTS aims precisely at taking the art out of the galleries and exhibiting it in public places.

This gives birth to the ”Art Points” in which we not only offer excellent and varied non-stop exhibitions, but also select each of the points for it’s quality and art and culture-loving public. We thus created an Art Route along the Costa Blanca, that brings together many of the best places of the area. We would like to thank all the people that supported us in the beginning and believed in this event, helping to bring the art a bit nearer to the people, ensuring, so we hope, that one day it will be part of our daily lives, just like a jewel, a piece of music or a good book. 

Speaking of Art is like speaking of Love. It is difficult to find a definition that suits all of us. But -and this is totally apart from the matterr of taste- we have to consider that Art (with a capital A) is what goes beyond the banalities. Just as we can’t call any obsessive emotion Love, we can’t call any graphic reproduction Art, as much as we may like the image we see. Art distinguishes itself by being something superior, not by being nice. Many can draw or paint well, but very few can pass the invisible limit between the already seen and the superior. This notwithstanding, we can all learn to enjoy it, and why not, to prefer it, because Art in all its expressions, elevates us above our routine and daily matters. It is not something elitist, it is not only for 'those who understand'. Or are perhaps only 'those who understand' capable of loving? 

Through the Artpoints we want to bring the Art nearer to all the people, offering quality Artwork in the context of a very social event, and remind you that, in the same way that you buy a piece of furniture, a dress or a book, you can choose to buy an Artwork. There is only one notable difference: With time, most Artworks gain in value, whereas most consumable objects lose their value right from the first day; furthermore, an Artwork doesn’t need of any external factors to fulfil its function, as all other objects do. In the Artpoints we offer Art, to your choice and for almost all tastes, at prices that will surprise many. But if you feel overwhelmed by the variety or confused due to lack of experience, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
