Oil on masonite

This one I began in my dorm room at Bowdoin and is now finished, unlike many of my oil paintings. I wanted to start some works that concentrated on where I live, in Charles County MD. This one is actually a scene from St. Mary's County, hence the title, which is just south of Charles. I experimented alot with color here, with warms and cools, and, if you could see this one up close and personal, you would notice a lot of bluish shadow and yellowish light and highlight.
