Backscratch Oil on canvas As a beginner, I started out painting simple wildlife paintings in oil. This was one of my first oils, and is still a work in progress. It may seem a little hoakie (at least that's what I think), but, I have to remind myself that this was, I believe, the first painting I did out of class (my first and only course during high school).
