 Nicknames: Birthdate: July 3rd, 1995 Level: Junior Elite Hometown: New York City, New York Height: 4'5 Biography: Jordyn is the middle child of 3 girls. Like all younger siblings, Jordyn wanted to be like her older sister Carly. Carly is a member of the ABC and has been a top level dancer since the age of 11. Jordyn took up dance and aspired to be like her sister. With her short muscular build the instructors suggested that maybe gymnastics would be a better sport for her. With much protest Jordyn finally decided to give it a try. She was powerful in the gym but lacked the skill level and was placed in recreational gymnastics. Not wanting to do a sport for fun, Jordyn transferred to another gym in hope to be placed on the competitive team. Again she was told that her skill level was not where it needed to be to be a competitive gymnast. Jordyn remained in recreational gymnastics for a year until one day one of the team coaches commented on how hard this little gymnast worked and how determined she was to become a top gymnasts. They gave her a spot on a developmental team and Jordyn excelled from there. She lacked the natural talent of most elite gymnasts but she was determined to reach her goals. In September 2006 she finally qulaifed to become a junior elite and has not looked back. Being the only elite at her gym, Jordyn made the move to AGAM.
