As of now, I am in the mist woven and lush green (coz it’s raining everyday here) valley of Hrishikesh, in the panorama of the majestic Ganges.

When it rains here, the clouds, practically, come down to the river level, down the valley, and it's really a breathtaking view.

I have met such amazing people around here, who left me completely in awe struck. Conversing at home, lucidly and fluently, in Sanskrit, just as we all sit together to have a chat in a commonly daily used broken Hindi! Means they will talk to me in Hindi, but among themselves, totally and casually, their daily gossip, in Sanskrit (they call it ‘devbhasha’). Then a hermit, who for last 15 years of his life, living only on fruits and Ganga-jal, and who had wore a ‘Silence’ (maun) for 9 years! He is 80 plus now.

the view hanging from my balcony...

Amazing people, and then an equally amazing story that I came acroos last year here, that I am quoting it as I read it. It describes the a tale woven in the beauty and crarm of the Ganga.

"When the full moon shines over the mighty Ganga on a clear night - it is like a time has come to a halt. It seems like a thousand stars shine in the quiet waters and musicians and dancers perform special songs and dances dedicated to the full moon. It is reported that on such an occasion a great raja was listening to the music of his court musicians and dancers, totally immersed and captivated by their play and the beauty of the night. At this moment he was interrupted by a courier announcing that an enemy king with his army had approached the walls of the city to take over the kingdom. The raja told his courier to inform the foreign king
that he can have the kingdom, they could settle such mundane things the next morning. The foreign king was even invited to join the evening only asked quietly not to disturb such a magical
and peaceful night of music and silence. The legend continues that the foreign king, originally prepared for war, was so puzzled by the raja's answer that he couldn't resist his curiosity. He followed the
invitation and quietly joined the concert. When he saw the raja and his court meditating to the celestial music he was so moved and humbled by the beauty of the scene that he apologised to the raja and withdrew with his army..!"

Well, that was it! And waise to time is quite tough due to the studies, but believe me, Life's as beautiful here.
