I don't really like to write or talk about myself. I'd rather express my ideas in stories. So, I will keep this brief.

I was born and raised in Michigan, and also lived in New York for about seven years. I came to Japan in 1985, and have been here ever since. I am a full-time member of the faculty at Chuo University, and also teach part-time at Kyorin University.

I started writing fiction several years ago, and have found that it is something that I love to do. It is the one activity that I do that enables me to concentrate completely, and I also love the fact that writing allows me to create something that never existed before.

I hope that you find my stories interesting, and I welcome all comments and criticism that you may want to share with me.
