Sour Cherry Soup |
Ingredients: 500 g Sour Cherries (pitted) 150 g Sugar Lemon Peel (of half a lemon, grated) 1 pinch Ground Cinnamon 1 tbs Flour 100 ml Sour Cream 6 cup Water 1 cup Cherry Juice |
Preparation: Boil the water, sugar, lemon peel, and cinnamon for 5 minutes. Add the cherries and simmer for 5 minutes. Mix the cream and the flour then stir in the cherry juice slowly. Pour it into the soup and boil until it thickens. Let it cool down, place it the refrigerator for few hours. Serve it chilled. |
