This site is dedicated to my father

Bhai Gurbax Singh Ajij : 1925 - 1995

Born in that part of India that later came to be known as Pakistan. He came to England in 1965. Worked initially in cotton mills of Manchester followed by many years of voluntary service in the gurdwaras in the Northwest of England. Along with his wife he brought up a family of two daughters and six sons. He encouraged tolerance, peace and understanding.
