weezil - A former fellow Hoosier and a nick I met courtesy of #30plus. He and I first met via a small #30plus gathering in August, 1995 at LadyTexan's and became pretty good friends as a result. We lived only a hop, skip, and jump away in Indianapolis from each other yet pretty much so only saw each other via IRC. He has plans on moving to Australia in the fall of '96 -- to start a new life adventure over in the land down under. *smile* Wishing you lots of happy smiles and more hon!

Piano - we originally met thru #30plus and later became neighbors in real life! She and I both love to laugh and both have a love of crafts! In fact many of the ones she likes to do, I like to do as well .. so gave us another area to sit and gab about when we met up in real life for a visit *hanging out the window to wave to the Piano-neighbor* We hit it offf the fist time we met in real life back in March of '96. She is working on a personal homepage so I will have a link hopefully here at a later date.

Daisers - I can't mention one IRC person who later became a real-life neighbor without mentioning Daisers who lives right up the road from me (literally) as well!! When she ain't out tending to her posies or figuring out how to get unlost while in D.C., she and I can sometimes met up at Chiodo's (a little sit down type of gathering place that has been in business for 50 years now - at least under the present family member. It actually opened its doors back in 1849 and been going strong since!) for a few giggles as well. *chuckle* *winkety-wink* *hanging out to other side of window to wave to Daisers-neighbor*

TinyTim - Yet another neighbor I gained in real life from #30plus when I moved to PA back in April. I don't have anything really embarrassing to relay to others about this nick since he and I only managed to meet twice since my move due to work schedule conflicts between the two of us.... but I do know he likes to find obscure restaurants to meet at for lunch so he can treat his taste buds to spicy food concoctions. *chuckle* *still shaking head to say no to yam chips and Peruvian food*

JoAnn - I met and have had the pleasure of phone conversations with this beautiful-voiced singer (just a pastime for her though) via #30plus and quickly became friends with this woman. She and I share just as many laughs in private messages with each other as we do on the main channel!! Though my Hoosier-style of grammar and relaxed attitude about typos on home pages sometimes grates at her teacher-side-persona-nerves, she still gets a chuckle out of some of the things I say. *grin* *hiding homepage passwords* I should also point out that she assisted me on my homepage endeavors by scanning many of the pictures I have inserted within my individual pages. *raising soda in toast* May we share many many more laughs together as well.*smile* *hug*

Skibus - Can't mention Daisers without mentioning her best pal and partner in life!! They met via #30plus also and I got to attend her wedding that was filled with Pittsburgh-type traditions, including a most delightful and tasty Cookie Table that her mother had prepared for the event. *yummies* Since their marriage, the "Bussers" live a hop, skip, jump away or technically 4 blocks or so from me .... now if I can only recall to call in advance before bombarding their porch....

Quagga - FP- and I got to chance to meet this illustratious (literally even) equine from #30plus when we were in the Boston area back in the Fall of 1997. We shared many laughs together over dinner and though I didn't get a picture of her on film, I did get an autographed copy of one of her pieces of work from "Pigopolis" series she is working on. *many hugs*

Peppr - Yep, yet another #30plusser I got to meet in real life, only this time in the DC area back in October '97. We went to the Hamburger Hamlet restaurant and while we waited and waited and waited for our meals we had a great deals of laughs too... and since Peppr and her daughter were drinking soda pops and I had a milk shake, FP- got the free whoops, I am so sorry I screwed up your meal complimentary apologetic beer. We had such an easy time talking we lost track of time until the restaurant gates (it was located in a mall-type setting) started to descend around us... we took our cue, and took the conversation outdoors for a while. *grin* Robby even liked Peppr so much that he dared to do what Peppr said so many men have dreamt of doing but very few had succeeded in doing as she tried to move his hands to a different support area. *chuckle*

Limey - This man has a distinct reputation at times on #30plus but that isn't what I am going to discuss here, I will leave it up to you to form your own opinions about this man. Like me, he has a stubborn streak when he feels he is right about something and sometimes he and I will clash on our opinions to only later on agree to disagree. *grin* I consider this man to be a friend of sorts (though we haven't met in real life nor talked via the phone as of yet) because he has demonstrated that in a way he is a friend. What I mean is simply this, a friend don't go around telling things you said in confidence to them ... and Limey does this also, even though I suspect sometimes he grits his teeth due to his fingers aching to type in something he was told in confidence that could either defend the person or "damn" someone else but he is a gentleman and won't be the one to reveal /msg mode conversations unless you tell him it is OK to do so. *hugs sent to this Texan-Brit* Thank you so much.

Sulu - This Missouri woman and I hit it off online from almost Day #1. She and I have shared tears, fears, smiles, and laughs together, and we have formed a great respect for each other as well. There just aren't enough words to describe our friendship. Someday soon I hope to meet this woman and her family and sit down face-to-face over a good hot cup of coffee at the kitchen table and chat! *many many hugs*

Maggie-M & Codon - These folks met via IRC, married in his homeland of the Netherlands and yet settled in Australia (where she is from). I used to chat with these two in the mornings before I headed out to work but Codon has since been too occupied with work and all to come online these days, though Maggie-M pops on still. She and I are pretty much able to talk about anything and we even swapped "woes of morning sickness" tales -- her little angel Maxine was born 3 weeks or so after Robby.

Fluffy - This Bostonian woman and I share many many laughs and smiles together. Like me, she strives to have a positive upbeat attitude about life ... and she lets that show too!! She and I missed a chance to meet in real life but someday soon I hope to have a picture of her I took ... I even have it all "posed" out in my mind's eye, I will have her posed on the "parking settee" I tease her about. See, she has this habit of using an old chair or piece of furniture in the winter time to "hold" her parking spot after the roads have been plowed. *chuckle* For some reason it became a long standing teasing line between the two of us, but it has brought us many a laugh.

Hon, we keep gettin' closer and closer to finally meeting ... keep them fingers crossed 'cause I hear "three's a charm"!!!

Triggr - This gentleman and I got the chance to meet back in 1996 at a #30plus gathering held in Pittsburgh area. He entertained us by juggling and sharing his sense of humor with all of us. *smile* He was quite honored, so he said, to be the one to tell the folks at the DC gathering on July 12th about Robby's birth earlier that morning for me and FP- *grin* Though he was one of the few who also tried to talk me into attending that function in my last days of pregnancy so we could sit and chat again!! Hahahah!!!
