Well, where to start. First, I am very intrigued and, so far, impressed by what you are trying to achieve. I haven't read your personal info page yet so I don't know what your background is -- bear with me if I say anything that appears offensive -- it is NOT intended that way! I am bookmarking your page, telling my friends about it, and coming back to visit again to get deeper into it.
Now...Second and following. So far I have read the intro and the section on the failure of family and religion. I largely agree with the content of your essay -- my problem is with the presentation. If you really want people to take you seriously (and I, for one, hope you do and they will) you need to check your spelling, check your grammar and most of all, check your facts! For instance, you seem to imply, in the religion and family article, that Moses wrote Genesis (Earth created in 7 days and all that) which he did not. Mistakes like that detract from your credibility.
[Incidentally, two friends of mine just came into this computer lab -- I gave them your page address and a little advertisement.]
Anyhow, I'm out of time for now. Keep up the good work and --- I'll be baaack!

Thanks for all of your interest in REBUILDING SOCIETY and thanks for your advertising. I've been resisting advertising until I could get more of the areas done...but perhaps it is in these preliminary stages when I need the most input.

Thanks for catching my spelling errors...I thought for sure I ran everything through the spell-checker...oh well.

As far as the Moses reference, well, you caught me. Many lay people still believe that Genesis was authored by Moses (as a matter of fact my old King James Bible still starts out "The First Book of Moses, called Genesis"). And since most people worship the Bible instead of God, I am hesitant to point out their flaws. I've already challenged their stands enough by suggesting that the only true Scripture are the words uttered by Christ. I didn't want to get into the origin of their Book, because they honestly don't care (if anyone were interested, I would direct him/her to Rescuing the Bible From Fundamentalism by Bishop John Shelby Spong). My goals here are not to convert everyone to my way of believing, but to help build a society where even the deceived are welcomed and tolerated. But I will change the reference so that it is more correct.

Please keep letting me know of any errors you discover...perfection can never be achieved, but should always be strived for.

Kenneth
