Most of the students today took the train to Bayreuth. For some, it was the first time they had ever ridden in a train, thanks to California's miserable mass-tranist philosophy or lack thereof. | Students had to find out about and answer numerous questions about the landmarks in the city of Bayreuth. They had to ask Germans for information and directions. Here, one group of our students are finding out about the city palace. |

Students were lead by their instruction booklet to the "Fountain of King Neptune," in the middle of the market square. Students were definitely impressed by the architectural beauty of the city of Bayreuth. | In the afternoon, students had the opportunity to "shop till they dropped." This was the year of ear-piercing (among other parts of the body) in GAPP. Here, Larissa is getting yet another hole in her ear. She got three in one sitting today. Parents of our other GAPP students will be surprised to find out who else got their ears pierced when our students return on Sunday! I'm not telling!!! |
