Carrie, Mary and their German partners visit one of the few remaining parts of the wall in Berlin. Now, after ten years, most of the wall has either been torn down or chipped away by tourists. | Carrie and Mary also visited the most famous landmark in Berlin, the Brandenburg Gate, which once stood right in the middle of "No-Man's-Land." Today, cars freely drive through the landmark. |

The symbol of Berlin is the Berliner Bear. Mary and Elizabeth cuddle with their friendly canine buddy. | Also on their list of things to see was the Kaiser-Wilhelm Memorial Church (in background), a bombed out chuch left standing as it was at the end of World War II. Since the church is located on the best shopping street in Berlin, the Kurfürstendamm, Carrie and her partner took advantage of the opportunity to spend money. |
