Just outside of Berlin in the city of Potsdam, is the famous palace of Sanssouci ("without a care" in French). This was the summer home of the German King Frederick. Here you see his "summer cottage," his more "intimate" residence during the summer.
The palace, in the background on the extreme opposite end of the palace grounds, was the king's official residence. The girls were definitely impressed.
