By: Eric K Sapp Blue Springs R-IV School District

created using MS Word

Working in-groups of two you will research information about the Five Themes of Geography for the United States. You will need to find pictures and information to give examples for each of the themes. Finally you will compile your research and pictures to create a Power Point presentation that relates the Five themes for the region.

Complete the following steps for your project:

  1. Using your textbook, encyclopedias and almanacs to research each of the Five Themes as they apply to the United States.
  2. Use the World Atlas, Multimedia Encyclopedia CD-ROMS and the Internet to find pictures to use as examples for each of the Five Themes.
  3. Sketch out a storyboard as a rough draft for your Power Point presentation (must be approved before moving on to step IV.)
  4. Create a Power Point presentation that has a minimum of seven slides.
  1. Present final product to the class.
