DE-regulation?

The establishment, the beaurocrats have created a wonderful scam. This scam is entitled the communications deregulation act. I find it ironic that a piece of legislation which claims to de-regulate actually imposes even more regulations. You can tell that this bill would be passed in a Republican majority congress. It DOES de-regulate the restrictions imposed on competition, which I applaud with great fanfare... When I first heard of this bill, I was excited to see some freedom finally. Alas, as I should know better, with the modern politicians... I learned of the Exon bill which failed it's first time around(correct me if I'm wrong...) Anyways, this bill seeks to impose restriction on free speech on the internet. I thought it had gone away, but it resurfaces as an amendment to the de-regulation act. Ahh... That is why I question it being called DE-regulation. Perhaps alternate-regulation would be a better word. They take away regulation of competition of companies, and service providers, which will enhance our choices, and encourage new growth of technology like never before. However, they don't really de-regulate anything, they just turn around and regulate something else. Yes, this is a Republican bill if ever I saw one... Except, the funny thing is. Senator James Exon is a democrat from Nebraska. A DEMOCRAT! Ahh, those clever fools. They deceive the public to believe they are for freedom, and civil liberties. A lot of kids nowadays believe that the democrats stand up for their rights to privacy, their rights to freedom. Abortion is the only issue that these kids and democrats would really believe in. The democrats sponsored an anti-freedom bill. One would expect this bill of Repbulicans, but not of democrats. It's a shame, that only 5 senators actually voted against this bill. 5 senators?! What has become of this nation. I am proud though, for one of the senators, Russ Feingold, of my state, Wisconsin, voted against it. I didn't vote for Russ, but I support him. I don't vote Republican anymore, because of their morality imposition. I don't vote for Democrats, because of their economic imposition. The democrats impose their morality also...

Example... I have a question. Do you believe that breast implants should be paid for with Tax-Payer dollars? how about a nose-job, or eloctrolysis, or lipo-suction? Of course not. Yet, the democrats, who call themselves pro-"choice" actually believe in tax-funding of abortions. Abortion, as a choice, by democratic logic, would mean that this operation is no more dangerous, or different than a breast implant, or some minor cosmetic surgery. It's not a physical necessity, except in rare occasions. Why, then, should a non-necessital, personal choice be funded by tax money? That is not pro-choice, that is pro-morality... not saying that is a Christian morality, but it is a morality, nonetheless. They seek to impose their choices upon us. Don't call it a choice, and force me to support you. A choice is about choosing, not forcing. That is where the democrats are hypocrites.

Next, this issue of free speech. Americans have always thought that the democrats were about freedom. Not so, say I. This bill proves it. America, if you love your freedom of speech, you will not rely on the Democrats, and especially not on the Republicans. You must rely on yourself. Don't think that the government can take away our rights. It cannot. It cannot regulate our God-given rights. Read the Constitution. Read the first ten Amendments... God gave us the right to Life, Liberty, the Pursuit of Happiness. Who are we to deny it? Can a man-made morality, a man-made legislation take away our power to speak? No matter how many of us they persecute, they cannot silence us, for there will always be more. We will grow, we will not be silenced... Their control is no longer. The dawn of a new technological era is upon us, and they are afraid, for they know that their Beaurocracy is through. They KNOW that their despotic rule is soon to be finished. This new technology in our hand, the Internet, is a wonderful tool for freedom. I didn't believe that until now. Oh, sure, I read about the government trying to force us to their will. I read about how the internet will be a new bastion of freedom, but I surely didn't believe it... I thought it was merely a tool for retrieving information. No. It isn't. It's the future. It's what will become of our race. We will either cripple our future, or we will let it grow freely, uninhibited, and let the future await for us... Let your voice rise in unison. And this isn't just to Americans, this is to the world... Don't let the dictators rule over us. let's usher in a new democracy, where the people really rule, where information is free, where WE are free. Tear a page out of Henry David Thoreou's book... do a little Civil Disobedience. Stand by your God given rights. I've already mentioned abortion. I guess I'll get a couple years jail-time out of that one. Well, SCREW 'EM! We will overcome. It may be a struggle, it may take a few years, but we will win. they cannot stop us. Unite, all of us, for ourselves, and for our children, forevermore.
