If there is any one area of purposeful, conscious, psychic activity where individuals seem to have the most apparent good results it has to be with channeling. Here I'm thinking of the many individuals that I know who use channeling to lead themselves to new and valid understandings and insights.
In the most basic of terms channeling is a form of communication, a valid source of information, which comes about through an agreement--a joint agreement or project between personalities --those in flesh and those who are not. And the personality you channel may, in the beginning, be a beginner too.
What this means is, in spite of what you may have heard, not all channeled personalities are masters. Because some of you may think of channel personalities as guides you may then suppose that they are somehow finished with the learning process and no longer feel a need for growth and expansion; and in that respect you would be mistaken. There is no end to the learning process in their plane of existence or in our own. They are also within a constant state of becoming--do not therefore imagine their growth is somehow limited. Consider that "someday" you may be the guide, channeling from the other side of the fence, as it were, speaking through others, and in that respect you would, in the beginning, be a beginner.
As Seth, Jane Roberts channeled entity said:
Speaking to a student, "You are beginning. The personality that you are now encountering will change, for he is also beginning in his own line of endeavor....he is an apprentice as you are an apprentice, and to some extent, you will learn to use your abilities together."
