Jane and Phoenix Christmas 2006

After teaching for 34 years in Iowa and Illinois, I retired from teaching on June 7, 2002. I taught several different grades, but am now ready to pursue the second half of my life. I love playing golf and plan on working on my game to lower my handicap. I also love reading, walking, biking, and going to live theater and music concerts. I wanted to move out of Illinois to a warmer climate and built a home at PebbleCreek Golf Resort in Goodyear, AZ. I moved in on February 12, 2003 after a three day drive across Illinois, Missouri, Oklahoma, Texas, New Mexico and finally down the mountain to my new home. Goodyear is in the West Valley of Phoenix. I am only about 16 miles to downtown Phoenix. I lost my beloved Puccini to brain cancer in March of 2006. You can see how beautiful he was on his web page by clicking below on Puccini. I have a new rescue dog, named Phoenix, who is a wonderful companion. He now has his own web page and you can see several pictures of him bt clicking below on Phoenix. If anyone who stops by my page has the same interests as I do, please send me a note. I would love to hear from you. My passions are:
  • Opera-Opera links around the world.
  • Golf-Golf links for you to help you with your game.
  • Puccini -Links to sites about Shih Tzu dogs.
  • Phoenix -Pictures of my new rescue dog Phoenix and links to sites about the breed Lhasa Apso.
