Most Important

This is the section about evils committed in the Catholic tradition. Before you continue, I want to make sure that I make clear what my page is and is not about.

  • 1. The arguments being made at this site are not a case for the holiness of any Christians, but for holy doctrine, in fact for a perfect doctrinal system. The proof is through reason (not through a history of holy peoples), and the idea is that reason proves which faith is correct, pure, and worthy of our belief.
  • 2. Therefore, I am not concerned at all about how many holy men there have been in the Church, or how many devilish people there were. That's history, not doctrine of faith and morals, not what we believe in.

Jesus called one of his apostles-in-training a devil (Judas), and another one "enemy/satan" (Simon) for disallowing Christ's suffering. Unsurprisingly, then, if you wish to call certain priest's, popes, or apostles "monsters," I applaud you. But I urge you not to let it keep you from thinking about all the details of how Eternity Matters.
