CIBECUE MASSACRE SITE 1

The Cibecue Massacre took place at this location on 30 August 1881. The Apache medicine man Noch-ay-del-klinne was one of the principal people killed. The site is about 50 miles north of Globe in very rugged territory, on the White Mountain Apache Indian Reservation. The village of Cibecue still exists and this site is almost in the middle of the village.
