I am writing this during one of the last Thursdays I will have off for the foreseeable future.  Management informed me yesterday that they will be canceling regular weekend and holiday coverage as of Labor Day weekend.  This means that I will go back to a standard Monday-to-Friday schedule rather than having off on Thursdays and working Sundays instead.

Although I am looking forward to having full weekends with my family again, I will miss my one-on-one time with A.J.

I also will miss the several thousand dollars I receive annually in Sunday differential pay....
