  VALLEY NEWSLETTER
ON COVER OF TI FLYER - AGAIN
For the fourth consecutive year, a picture of Valley's newsletter appears on the cover of TI's annual "Your Club Newsletter: A Tool for Fulfilling the Club's Mission" flyer. The four page flyer is received by the President of every club in the world wide organization. May we accept that as a compliment?.-gp.

I always dislike using a manuscript in making a speech. It's like courting a girl through a picket fence. Everything that is said can be heard, but there isn't much contact.

MEMBER ON THE MOVE
Wayne Church,
ATM-Silver, announced he had accepted a new job (added responsibility and income) as Health Care Security Director of Pinkerton Security. He will travel an 11 western states area which covers 700 hospitals. According to Wayne, the single most important skill contributing to his selection as the candidate for this job was his seven years Toastmasters experience at handling Table Topics questions. He had presentations prepared and ready to go, but it was Table Topics all the way.
Congratulations Wayne! We're proud of you --- and hope you don't miss too-o-o many meetings.
