Speechcraft is a program designed by Toastmasters International and presented by members of local Toastmasters clubs to develop leadership and speaking skills in a seminar workshop format. It is an eight-week program which will help you gain confidence in communication -- including writing and delivering speeches, impromptu speaking, the use of audiovisual aids and body language. You will have fun, meet new people and experience personal growth and increased confidence. The series, sponsored by
Valley Toastmasters will be held on consecutive Thursday evenings through
March 27 and is facilitated by Jerry and Connie Kandansky. For more
information about the program --- call Connie at 997-1101. |
HELP! Registration has exceeded all expectations and we have a Full House for the Speechcraft program. A plea for help has been heard to the far corners of Glendale. Connie is looking for members who can assist with the program. |
JUDGES NEEDED Club members Connie, Jerry, and Liz are conducting Youth Leadership programs. They will combine the three classes on February 11 from 9am to 11am for a speech contest. If you can be a judge - let them know. |
