SHARPENER
I need a good pencil sharpener not one for a dollar,
Maybe also better pencils then I would never holler
Every time the end breaks off in the middle of a line,
Or wear down too quickly, to me, that is a crime.

The Bs are too soft, H’s are a little bit too hard,
HBs are fine as long as it’s good paper or a card,
But at a dozen for a dollar they all break too easily
And ones in the art shop are too expensive for me.

There has to be an answer, something that’s in between
That will stop dull and broken points too often seen,
A ballpoint I can use but then I cannot rub anything out,
And they are harder to control when the car jumps about.

A small laptop that keeps going for many a long hour
One that can work well without any electrical power,
Or even better a new invention would be that as I think
The words appeared before me not using pencil pen or ink,
