While in my dream, she came to me.
Sprinkling it with fantasy.
Said it was time, that I'm the one.
I bear the mark; the sacred son.
She sent me here as a small babe.
Safe to grow old out of harms way.
She spoke the words, lightening flashed.
I did not know what had just passed.
I open my eyes, look around.
Pick myself up off the cold ground.
The Fairy Queen's in front of me.
So beautiful, a sight to see.
"My sacred son I brought you home
to save our land from evil gnomes.
They bound me here I cannot leave.
I will soon die without my tree."
"The magic scrolls you have to find.
They show the way to break the binds.
You will have friends to guide the way.
Close at your side they'll always stay."
Elves and pixies all came to me.
Ready to die to save the Queen.
So we set out on the great quest.
Her death at hand we could not rest.
The castle's vault we must explore.
Find the secret to the gnome's hoard.
We find the clues that lead the way.
They cannot hide, they'll rue this day.
We fight the guards and gain entry
to their dark cave under the sea.
In their great hall they're at a feast.
I see their king an ugly beast.
They grab their swords; the fights begun.
Three to one odds, it can't be done.
We're doomed I say; we cannot win.
Then she takes me, I light within.
Magic grabs me, raises my arm.
I lay to waste the entire swarm.
We rush back to be at her side.
The Queen is sick, but will not die.
The scroll in hand, on bended knee,
I speak the words to set her free.
She smiles at me, looks around,
Tells me to get off the ground.
"My sacred son, I name you king.
Place on your hand the royal ring.
This land is yours to rule for life.
To protect and keep free of strife."
My Fairy Queen, I promise you
I'll keep it safe, I will be true.
Now I'm the king, as you can see
The Fairy Queen, my bride to be.
