TEACHERS:
We should state that the teaching staff amounts to 33 during the 03/04 academic year, out of which just 16 have Blanca as their definitive assignment. The rest of the staff is normally renewed every year.
NON-TEACHING STAFF:
Within this section we have to include 5 people (2 cleaners, 1 accountant and 2 care assistants -for disabled students-).
There are 400 students in our school, most of them are from Blanca which has a population of about 6000 inhabitants.
With regard to those students obtaining the GCSE certificate at the end of this academic year, we should highlight the fact that a great majority of them belong in a particular profile, a high percentage of them will opt for medium level vocational training next year while the rest of them will continue with Bachillerato in order to gain access to University or to higher level vocational training in the future:
There are different levels taught
in our school, however, there is no possibility of choosing any vocational trainig course, if they decided to do so, they would have to choose any other schols offering such courses about which we can give students all the information they may need. The following levels are actually being taught by us:
1st and 2nd form of CSE, that is, 1st cycle of GCSE.
3rd and 4th forms of GCSE (2nd cycle).
The first and second forms of post-compulsory Secondary Education (stage previous to University studies).
Finally, within our webpage we include the different departments existing in our school and the number of members in each of them which should not be mistaken for the number of full-time vacant places, due to the fact that some of these members are teaching several related subjects at the same time and others work part-time. The names of the heads of department are not included because of the great mobility of the school teaching staff, they go as follows:
