To Breath Free of Time, and Free

To breath free of time, and free
                                            of every impediment save air.
The inner breath seeks and creates,
                                            the outer draws it forth.
                                            Air, like a thumb print,
                                            bears your lung print:
                                            the world touches you.
                                            Air, food and water
intimate our connection to the world.
                                            We kick up the earth,
a dust cloud rises; denser dust
                                            are we, who create motion,
                                            dancing with the world
                                            the dance called life.
