The Threskian Lesser Banishing Ritual of the Pentagram

1. Stand facing the East, equipt with instrument.

2. With the instrument in right hand, touch the forehead, and vibrate : Oμ (Om)

3. Touch the genital area, and vibrate : Φαλός (Phalos - Phah-loh-s)

4. Touch the right shoulder and vibrate : Τέτρα (Tetra)

5. Touch the left shoulder and vibrate : Κτύς (Ktys - ktees)

6. Touch breast and vibrate : Iακχος (Iakchos - Ee-ak-ho-s)

7. Imagine a flaming pentagram on forehead, touch forehead with instrument.

8. Extend instrument straight out, take a step towards the East and trace a very large
pentagram in the following direction, and vibrate : Μεθυδώτην (Methydoten - Meh-thee-doh-teen)

9. Step back, turn right to the South, imagine the blazing star and trace the
pentagram, but vibrate : Ιερώτατος (Hierotatos - Ee-eh-roh-tah-toh-s)

10.Step back, turn right to the West, imagine the blazing star and trace the
pentagram, but vibrate : Παμμήτειρα (Pammetiera - Pahm-mee-tee-rah)

11.Step back, turn right to the North, imagine the blazing star and trace the
pentagram, but vibrate : Κερόεσσα (Keroessa - Keh-roh-es-sah)

12. Step back and complete the circle facing East.

13. Raise instrument straight up, above the head, draw hand down and touch
forehead.

14. Stand in the form of a Pentagram : arms extended in the form of a cross, feet a
little over shoulder-width apart, and say in a firm voice :

Before me Ερως (Eros - Eh-roh-s),
Behind me Χάος (Chaos - Ha-oh-s),
On my right hand, Θάνατος ( Thanatos),
On my left hand, Κόσμος (Kosmos)
About me flames the Star of Five
And in the pillar stands the Star of Six

15. Now repeat the Mystic Cross (steps 1 to 6)
