| Edustock: In their
words: "Edustock is an educational web page designed to teach young and
old alike, what the stock market is, and how it can work for them." The
background to this page is rather interesting--it was the grand prize winner
of 1996's ThinkQuest Web Design competition for high school teams.
Country Studies/Area
Handbook Program: The US Library of Congress provides access to
over 70 web versions of the Army Area Handbook books. "Most books in the
series deal with a particular foreign country, describing and analyzing
its political, economic, social, and national security systems and institutions,
and examining the interrelationships of those systems and the ways they
are shaped by cultural factors.
