Twilight Princess

My twilight princess
Queen of night,
Into my soul you shine your light.

Through depths of hate, despair, defeat,
You cause my forlorn heart to beat.
Pumping blood through forgotten viens,
This once dead flesh alive again.

My twilight princess
Queen above,
I am reborn within your love.

A new life bred from inner death,
And with new hope I draw new breath.
My new eyes see, and new ears hear,
New senses rise to calm my fear.
With these new senses tis you I find,
You fill my heart, my soul, my mind.
My love is yours and yours alone,
You see right through my flesh and bone.
You see the rose beneath the dirt,
You tear away my shroud of hurt.

My twilight princess
Queen of tears,
My source of joy; my source of fears.

The blackest depths of hell's cold heart,
Are what I face when we're apart.
And though it's nothing new to me,
It burns my heart with misery.
This pain from joy; this joy from pain,
Is too much for my troubled brain.
My sanity's a tattered thread,
My heart's alive; my mind is dead.
But death begets a new rebirth,
Into insanity's realm of mirth.
Was always sure I'd take this road,
And listen to the tales it told.
Feels good to lose this last pretense,
Feels good to come down from that fence.
Been teetering for far too long,
I tip, I fall, and now I'm gone.

My twilight princess
Queen of me,
Come join me in insanity.

My twilight princess
Queen of light,
Within your love I'll sleep tonight.
