The Solution To The Legality Debate Over Abortion

"The Solution to the Legality Debate over Abortion"

3-3-98 I, the wonderful author, creator, editor, and overall king of this fantastic website, have found the solution to the lethal debate over the legality of abortion. This debate has gone on for some time, and has ruined many careers and lives. With this editorial, I hope to be at least part of the solution to this hazardous problem.

First of all, there are three sides to this debate. I know many of you know about the pro-life and pro-choice groups, so you are wondering who the third is. The third party, the one that takes most of the heat, is the government. The greatest form of government in existence, SO FAR, is also one of the biggest players in this situation. Let me explain this. One of the goals of the other two groups, either pro-life or pro-choice, is to coerce the government into taking their side. But so far, they have been relatively unsuccessful either way. Right now, abortion is legal but only until the third trimester of pregnancy. So, in a way, both groups have won or lost (depending on your point of view). The United States government has a solemn pledge to all of it's citizens that it will not, under any circumstance, involve itself in the private lives of those citizens. I think all people can agree that is an excellent policy. But the abortion groups want to change that for their own benefit. Well, if they haven't figured it out by now, let me help them

IT WILL NEVER HAPPEN!

I hope that clears things up about that. Now, onto my next topic. The solution to the entire problem, excluding the government, is relatively simple. First of all, the pro-LIFE supporters--those who are adamently opposed to abortion because they believe it is killing a human being. What about those pro-LIFE supporters that blow up abortion clinics killing the patients, their unborn children and the doctors inside? Does that sound PRO-LIFE??? But that is beside the point.

The Solution)
Those who believe the pro-life argument will not have abortions because they feel it is wrong. Therefore, the abortion will not occur. That satisfies that side.
Those who believe in the pro-choice argument will have an abortion if they so desire, thus supporting their beliefs.

If one group does what they want, and the other does what they want, why can't the two groups get along? Why must one push it's moral views onto someone who does not ask for it? Do they feel they are superior to the other? And why does all of the blame have to fall on politicians? Granted, they are not the most credible or noble people in existence (which, I would think, would make them less likely to be approached to be associated with any particular side), but they are just doing what either the American people want them to do, or what they feel is morally right. Did all of that make sense?
