Because I am still a minor, I am not allowed to gamble in Vegas. However, in most hotels, the only way to the arcade or restaurants is through the casino! (Which is very smart on the part of the designers. :-)) Isn't that convienent? They decide to give us 21 years of hands-off, adult demonstrated training!
They (the people in charge) say that kids aren't allowed to gamble because they are too immature and don't understand the value of a dollar or the fact that they may need the money later on in life. But then when hundreds of thousands of "grown-ups" do it, it is merely their right as adults. Bull$#!% The people that spend their last dime on a freakin slot machine are even dumber than the kids the government doesn't allow to gamble because they are working with AT LEAST 21 years of life experience and still haven't learned how to manage money. They still haven't learned how to limit themselves...isn't that interesting???
However, the government does give us some training in the field of losing money. They give us this wonderful invention called an arcade game. They fill huge rooms with these devises which serve no other purpose then to finance the losers who go broke in the casino next door! I'm sorry, but the government's fear of children actually outsmarting them is making them look like what they are trying to avoid----idiots!!!
