COMMITMENT
There is a need for commitment in this day and age,
For Satan, it seems, his greatest evil does rage
On all God’s children that dwell now here on earth,
Satan wants all to think that heaven is of no worth.

He tells us that it is wealth that matters, treading others down
To get ahead, he tells us lies all the time, makes us to frown.
But commitment to truth and light is the much better way,
Then however hard he tires, if we turn him out he can not stay.

Be determined to always stop and choose the right,
A heart committed to goodness will always shine bright.
Never be wishy-washy, mundane, but ever be strong,
Have courage to carry the banner of truth, to remove wrong.
Be a Christian soldier wearing the armour by God given,
Wield the sword of justice as you help lead the way to heaven.

Do not listen to those sweet tempting lies that from Satan flow,
He only wants our misery, he does not want any of us to go
Onward heaven bound. But like him suffer long eternal pain,
Know he cannot return to that wonderful glory ever again.

We can only guess at the glory, but he remembers, he really knows,
Think of the misery of losing it, he wants us to feel these fatal blows.
We must be steadfast, committed to truth and goodness to the end,
The message of God’s, salvation and atoning sacrifice gladly send.
