GOING THROUGH LIFE
When going through life many lessons we need to learn
If after death, a home in Gods kingdom we wish to earn,
Each has a chance to learn, but how many of us take heed
Of the lessons learned, on found wisdom do we often feed?
A lesson that all folks are important, each has a role to play,
However great or small the part, we need people every day,
Just imagine if the garbage man did not come once a week!
Or those who run gas stations new employment wished to seek!
Even those souls on the street who beg to try and stay alive
Are part of life, a reminder that we need God to daily survive.
Many times we have the great chance to lend a helping hand,
Give a ride, spare your change, save a soul from sinking sands.
Maybe a kindly word spoken to someone you do not know
Will lift a weary heart weighed down with sorrow and woe,
The good lessons we learn will help us to realize each day
That we are here to help many others along lifes busy way.
Never be too busy to remove boulders that block the way,
Never be afraid to give totally of your self every single day,
Think of the lessons the Master taught, then said, Follow me
Means we should follow His example, and He will set us free.
