        MAKE UP YOUR MIND
If you make up your mind to be happy
        and have joy,
Even if your day goes wrong and many
        things annoy,
For somewhere from behind a dark cloud
        the sun shines through,
And however hard the day may be blessings
        will come to you.
If you make up your mind to be really kind
        whatever people do,
The main part of the battle is won for they
        cannot change you,
A sweet word to someone who is rude could
        change a person’s day,
They may think you a little crazy not to be
        rude back again,
But they also may stop and think that rudeness
        can cause others pain.
If you make up your mind to stay true to all
        truth and righteousness,
What ever happens the decision is made and
        the Lord will always bless
You with a personality that will grow ever
        strong and firm,
And you will help others along life’s way,
        His glory one day earn.
