THE WORTH OF A SOUL
Each soul is a perfect jewel,
each child here is a priceless gem,
Spirits created by a loving Father
even before the worlds began.
The worth of a soul cannot be measured
by any earthly wealth we know,
Deity in embryo is each child born to come
to earth to learn, develop and grow,
From the newest born tiny baby
to Methuselah who was very old,
All are beyond value in the eyes
of our loving God we are told.
We know He loves the birds and flowers,
the scriptures tell us so,
So dear friend never underestimate
the power that is within.
It is Satan who tells us we are no good
too full of evil and sin
To be of any good or worth to others,
especially our God above,
But he is wrong for if we repent Jesus
will save us by His everlasting love.
Now think for a moment, would God
Let His only begotten suffer and die
If we were not precious jewels
brighter than the stars in the sky?
