TRUTH AND LIGHT
When truth you see and find, light shines through,
A spark of knowledge to help in dark what you do,
The more truth we seek out the more light we gain,
Until the light within us becomes an eternal flame.

Our mind will not be clouded in dark ignorance
With more truth, more light we can then dispense,
We wipe away excuses for more things we know,
Enlightened along the right path we confidently go.

No light can shine bright if truth is hidden from you,
The Lord wants us to grow in wisdom our lives through,
Seek the gifts of the spirit so your light will always shine,
Helping others find the way to God’s wisdom divine.

The only gifts of eternal worth are the good things we learn,
And being good and kind and every day strive to earn
The knowledge that will guide us to our home above,
So truth always seek and be filled with His light and love.
