GIVE GIFTS OF LOVE
Why not start a new tradition
for decorating the tree,
Have a special collection of baubles
in a basket so pretty,
And when a kindly deed is shown
to you or you do one too,
Hang one on the tree showing a gift
of love has shone through.
The baubles could be hearts or candles,
or treasured ones quite old,
A symbol of God’s pure light shining
for the family to behold.
Fill the basket with your treasures and try
and empty it by Christmas day,
And the sweet peace of the season will fill
the home in a special way.
